Why does OneGold have to vet customers?
Being in the precious metals industry, OneGold is required to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) standard for anti-money laundering and fraud protection. This measure safeguards both our users and our business against individuals who could cause harm with access to your funds or account. In some cases, OneGold may contact you for additional information.

What happens if I fail to comply with OneGold's request or fail the vetting process?
If an account holder fails to comply with OneGold's request or fails the vetting process, OneGold may lock the user's account. In most cases, this results in funds being returned to the originating bank account.

How can I verify my account?
You can add verification documentation by:
- Logging into your OneGold account and selecting "Settings" under your account name. Click "Verification" in the left-hand navigation section, enter in your details, and click Continue. The next page will feature a drop-down menu to select the type of document you wish to upload. Once you have made your selection, click the "Browse" button on the right to access your computer's files and choose a document to upload. Once you have selected your document, you can click the "Submit for Verification" button to complete the document upload process. A valid photo ID includes a government-issued photo identification such as a passport or a driver's license.
- You can still buy, sell, and withdraw cash without account verification until certain thresholds are reached or additional verification is required
