How do I withdraw funds?

To withdraw cash, please visit the "Withdraw" section on the top of the OneGold website. You are able to withdraw by Wire Transfer.

  • Add your bank details, including your name on the account, the bank's name, the routing number, the account number, and the bank's address.
  • If you need to provide additional bank details to us, please email us at support@onegold.uk.
  • Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and submit your request.
  • "Withdraws" are typically processed in 1 to 2 business days once funds have settled. We will send an email when your wire has been processed.
  • Funds will typically post to your account within 1 to 2 business days after we process your wire.
  • OneGold charges a flat fee of £25 for withdrawals requested by bank wire.

When attempting to withdraw cash, I get a message that my account is not validated. What does that mean?

To comply with our internal parameters under Anti-Money Laundering laws, for accounts with balances exceeding a certain amount or where transaction volume is significant, we may need to verify your identity before you can withdraw funds. Please click the "Verify My Identity" button or go to the "Verification" section of the "Settings page" and follow the steps to submit verification documents. Once our compliance team reviews your documents, you will receive an email confirming your verification, which will enable you to withdraw cash.

Is there a limit on withdrawals?

No, we do not have any withdrawal amount limit.

Why is there a need to review my withdraw request?

OneGold takes account security very seriously and must remain in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) standard for Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud protection. To do so, we must ensure that all out going transfers are being credited to the correct account. In cases where a simultaneous funding and withdrawal or redemption order is placed, OneGold may hold outgoing funds until incoming funds have been fully cleared.

Why can I only receive funds into the bank account from which the funds were withdrawn?

To prevent fraud or account hijacking on behalf of our customers, we will not transfer funds into an account we have not previously verified and received funds from. We ask that you consider this policy before making any significant changes to your banking information. If a bank account is closed, or we are unable to fulfill a transfer request, a check may be mailed to you once our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures have been satisfied.
